Ham & Friends is a new pop up running from 1st -24th December 2016 in The Grand Arcade, Leeds.
It’s a wine and raclette bar, as well as a Christmas food shop called All the Trimmings. You can buy gifts for festive feasts, including organic, natural and biodynamic wines, charcuterie, cheeses, hampers, gifts & more.
I went along to the preview night, and the space has been decked out beautifully with a great level of ‘twinkle’ to it. There are wooden benches and tables that are lit by candlelight, inviting folk to sit and natter whilst supping on fine wine and eating a warming raclette.
There’s even a festive tent, which is packed with cosy cushions so that you can escape the cold and snuggle in for a few festive drinks.
Next year, Ham & Friends will take up permanent residency across two floors of the Grand Arcade, creating a restaurant, wine bar, wine shop, food hall and deli, with a walk-in cheese room provided by George & Joseph. Exciting times!
